This is a short collection of a couple of new things and a really old one I wanted to get out there. I started playing the ukulele again after putting it down for a while. The best way to learn is to listen to somebody who can play the thing and the first ukulele player that came to mind was Tiny Tim, yes that Tiny Tim. I checked out a few songs and realized that he was in fact a great ukulele player and a real trip. One thing lead to another and here we are. No the whole little album is not about Tiny Tim, only one song is, but it kind of led me to thinking about art and show business and music and commerece and anything else that passes for entertainment and the music business in general and somehow that led to this strange little collection of songs.

Damaged Pies has also been honored with the Jefferson Award for Public Service.
Damaged Pies has opened for former Beatle Pete Best, Marshall Crenshaw, Alejandro Escovedo, Pegi Young (Neil’s wife) The Atomic Punks, Peter Case, former Eagle Don Felder, Peter Mulvey and Jen Chapin.
Damaged Pies is a member of WhyHunger's Artists Against Hunger & Poverty program, an Associate Member of the Recording Academy, ASCAP and Pittsburgh Rock and Roll Legends Academy of Voters.
